Start with something that’s yours.
Share work you created or are allowed to publish. A short clip you recorded, an original drawing or a story in your own words is a better starting point than downloading someone else’s post and uploading it again.
Context is part of the joke.
Add a caption that helps someone understand the moment. Give credit where needed and use a link to the original creator when discussing outside work. Do not upload copied television episodes, films, or another person’s video files.
Pause before you post.
Look for private details in the background, check that anyone identifiable is comfortable with the post, and consider whether the joke targets a person who did not choose to take part. Use Report when a community post needs attention.
