Begin with the work.
A memorable performance can make us curious about the person behind it. The work itself is a useful place to start: what did the creator make, which detail stood out, and why did it connect with you?
Curiosity can be considerate.
Use published interviews and first-party credits when discussing a creator’s career. Separate confirmed information from your interpretation. Public interest does not make someone’s private address, family life or personal messages appropriate material.
Give credit where it belongs.
Name the creator when you discuss their work and link to the original when possible. A photograph being online does not make it free to reuse. If a detail cannot be verified, leave it out rather than completing the story with a guess.
